Xerosun - Absence Of Light CD (Rising Records) - Rising Records have found yet another great U.K. band that we need to hear more of. ‘Absence Of Light’ is the Dublin rockers debut full length (and pretty damn fine I hasten to add) with a heavy but melodic style of metal. Having supported Avenged Sevenfold on the Irish leg of their world tour…

...and making their live television debut to an audience of 500,000 people on Irish national T.V…. pretty impressive me thinks!?! The heaviness of the songs rings out, whilst the harmonies of the vocals transport ‘Absence Of Light’ across to a wide audience field. With a music video backing some of these tunes you could see them getting aired in rock bars and clubs worldwide. Metal for the masses, keep it up lads!
